"Seashell Blush"
A reassuring, diaphanous drape, adorned with kadhua Camellia floral motifs in resham mina. The beautiful and intricately detailed bootas on the body are delicately balanced by a chic, checkered border in zari and meenakari.
- Color - An always elegant shade of pista
- Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Classic handwoven Banarasi Meenakari art passed down through generations. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
- Fabric - Pure Handwoven Kora Silk
- Speciality - we have introduced new motifs hitherto unfamiliar in our classic Banarasi textile vocabulary. This beautiful saree features the immaculate Camellia, woven in our eponymous KatanPalace technique.
- The katanpalace promise- Pure fabric and honest-to-goodness banarasi handloom
Note- There may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons.
This is a hand-woven product and any irregularities in the weaving or pattern should not be taken as a defect. These irregularities make every handloom piece unique.Care - Professional dry cleaning only
